After a number of fulfilling years of working with clients in Bangor, I’m pleased to share that my psychotherapy practice has now relocated to Llangollen.

Llangollen is a place that invites reflection, surrounded by river, hills and history, it feels like a fitting home for the kind of work I offer: spacious, relational, and grounded in presence.

I practice Core Process Psychotherapy, a mindfulness-based approach that draws on both Western psychodynamic understanding and the contemplative wisdom of Buddhist psychology. It is a gentle yet profound way of working that invites awareness of the deeper patterns that shape our experience. At the heart of this work is the belief that each of us has the capacity for clarity, compassion and transformation.

As far as I know, I am currently the only Core Process practitioner offering this kind of work in North Wales. It’s a unique approach that is particularly well suited to those who are looking for more than quick fixes, and who are drawn to explore their inner world in a deep and meaningful way.

I work one-to-one with adults, supporting people with a wide range of issues including anxiety, overwhelm, life transitions, grief, panic, sporting and work performance and a general sense of feeling stuck or disconnected. I offer sessions in person here in Llangollen, as well as online for those further afield.

If you’re based in Llangollen, Wrexham, Oswestry or the surrounding areas and are looking for a therapist, I’d be very happy to hear from you. You can find more about me and how I work here, or feel free to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation. Our first appointment is free of charge.
